In 1997, Rick started his coaching career in Australia as the National Junior and Developmental coach, he took this experience back to Canada where he implimented the National Developmental Program and began working with a new club the Cyclones!

Rick has coached at all levels including:

Paralympics

IAAF World Championships

IPC World Championships

IWAS World Junior Championships

National and Provincial Championships

His athletes have won national titles, set Provincial and Canadian records, won multiple medals at major Championships. 

Having coached at provincial, Provincial, National and International training camps and worked with athletes of ALL levels, Rick is more than willing to answer any questions you may have regarding wheelchair athletics, training in general or just interested in getting involved in wheelchair racing, at any level!
