4 CYCLONES, 11 MEDALS!

Once again, Cyclones athletes make an impact at our National Championships! Duff, Frie and Shaw representing Saskatchewan and transplanted Dupont representing his home province of Quebec but Cyclones members all! With the competition at a national level remaining strong year after year making a final in the male T54 class is an accomplishment on its own let alone medal! Duff continued her dominance in the sprints and Frie showing strengths from 100-1500m!...

This competition came at the end of a month long road trip of racing...Starting in Montreal and Sherbrooke, Quebec at the beginning of june, then to Switzerland for 3 meets and half Marathon then Toronto for nationals! You would think they would be done, WRONG! Out to Cedartown GA for the world 5k Champs and finish off with Peachtree 10k in Atlanta. 

Frie and Shaw saw their own beds for a short 5 days before heading off to a staging camp and meet in Windsor before heading off to worlds. Dupont flying out 2 days later. Duff had no choice but to remain home and re-aquint herself with her co workers!

Frie and Shaw were invited to a Grand Prix meet in Lucern just prior to the start of worlds and Dupont received his invite to London Crystal Palace event! 

I'm exhausted just typing it but they aren't done yet! August 21st the three leave for and the Canada Summer Games in P.E.I along with Cyclones athlete turned coach Tannis Stang...And in the middle of all this Dupont and Duff decided to have a wedding, their own to be exact...So, as you can see, it's been another busy year...
