Keira-Lyn Frie of Saskatoon finished in fourth place on Sunday in the women's 5,000 metres at the Paralympic Games in London.
Frie, who trains with the Saskatoon Cyclones Road and Track club, finished with a time of 12: 28.93, missing the podium by a sixth of a second.

It's been a very exciting season for Becky Richter. Two world record times will do that! The first came in Coquitlam BC at the Coquitlam Cheetas Invitational in the 800m. The previous world record time was 4:11.97, Richter crosses the line in 4:02.25, besting the previous time by over 8 seconds! Unfortunately the meet was not sanctioned so the time won't count towards a world record.
